Ms. Daphne Brown (49), a shining star and devoted caregiver, left this life on August 3, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. Born on January 11, 1975, in Valdosta, Georgia, Daphne spent her life spreading love, kindness, and warmth to all she met. With a heart of gold and a stern yet loving demeanor, she dedicated herself to caring for children and those in need. Her passion for cooking and helping others brought joy to countless lives. Daphne's legacy lives on through her loving family, including her mother, siblings, children and grandchildren, extended family, and all who cherished her deeply.
A Golden Heart, A Shining Light Daphne, oh Dap, with a heart so true, your love and kindness shone bright, through all you'd do. With a stern exterior, but a soul so bright, you lit up rooms with your smile, and made our lives take flight. Your cooking was a labor of love, a gift from above, Nourishing bodies and souls, with a tender touch of love. As a caregiver, you gave your all, with patience and with care, A true angel on earth, with a heart that was rare. Your family was your world, your children and grandchildren dear, you loved them with a love so strong and wiped away each tear. Though you may be gone, your memory stays near, A golden heart, a shining light, that will forever persevere.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, august 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM from Union Cathedral - 1050 East Hill Avenue. Bishop Wade. S. McCrae officiating and host Pastor. Reverend Bernard. L. Robinson Sr., - Pastor of Greater Pleasant Temple Baptist Church, Eulogist.
Final Resting Place: Pallbearers Cemetery.

A - Angelic: Her kindness, compassion, and warmth made her a true angel on earth.
P - Passionate: She was passionate about cooking, caring for others, and making a difference in the lives of those she touched.
H - Heartfelt: Everything Dap did came from the heart, with sincerity and genuine love.
N - Nurturing: As a caregiver, Dap had a natural ability to nurture and care for those in need.
E - Empathetic: She had a deep understanding and connection with others, always knowing how to offer comfort and support. This description captures the essence of Dap's beautiful spirit and personality.
Rest in power, dearest Dap, your love will never fade, in our hearts, your memory will forever be displayed.

Daphne, I'll remember and love you forever. You left us too soon, but I know God needed another angel. Your smile will be something I'll cherish and hold on to for the rest of my life. I'm sorry I wasn't there to see you on your journey to heaven, but I know you've been welcomed with open arms by God and his angels. Love and will miss you always and forever.
Dap, you were a beautiful, blessed, anointed woman of God. From the first time we met you through your BFF/ sister, LaTonya Michelle Black and our daughter, we instantly became in love with you. You were just like a daughter to my beloved, deceased husband Bennie and I, another sister to our children, Tonya, Todd and Ronisa and also a niece to my sister Margaret. You touched all of our lives in a very unique and meaningful way. You were truly a beautiful woman inside and out. Donovan and Danielle were blessed to have you as a mom. You loved, and cared for them so deeply and never showed them nothing but unconditional love. The first day you laid eyes on your little princess Keyonia, she stole your heart. No words can describe the love and support you gave your precious jewel Keyonia who was truly the apple of your eyes. She was a beautiful, special gift from Donovan and your heart and soul. There are no words to express all the love and wisdom you shared with everyone. You were truly a special gift from God. Your beautiful, loving and kind spirit was priceless .We will truly miss your beautiful face. smile , laughter, kind and caring heart and the way you always made sure everyone was okay and doing what was right. Words cannot express how heartbroken we all are . You always gave us your best love, support, dedication, cooking, direction, wisdom and spiritual guidance etc. You were a woman after God's own heart. To know you was too love you. There are so many wonderful things I could say about you and how you touched our family hearts. We will always love and cherish your precious memories. We thank God for sharing you with us and we will be forever grateful being a part of your life. Dap you have fought a good fight, finished your course and kept the faith and according to God's word, there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness. "To God Be The Glory." You are gone but not forgotten and we will always remember and love you my sweet angel daughter from another mother. You will forever live in my/ our hearts, mommy Faye.
Sometimes there are no words for a loss so great. our hearts are broken, we look and listen hoping it is a bad dream during your time you were our star. Praying for healing in the days to come. My heart goes out to the Brown family—such a kind soul to go so early. I grew up with Daphne in Valdosta. We were in school together for as long as I can remember. She was kind, considerate, and just sweet. Even when we'd call out at each other in the hallway between classes, her mere voice made you feel at ease and comfort first; then, once next to her walking in the opposite direction, you were engulfed with that same energy. She will be missed.
I can only offer my prayers and heartfelt condolences. I want to let her family know how honored I feel to have been her friend and had the time I did with Daphne.
