It is with heartfelt sympathy and compassion, we announce the earthly transition of Ms. Josephine Mays Simon of Valdosta, Georgia, who departed this life on May 22, 2026, at the age of 74.

Ms. Simon was born on February 23, 1952, and leaves behind a legacy of love, memories, and cherished moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Homegoing Service: It is with deep sorrow yet abiding faith, the family of Ms. Josephine Simon announces her Homegoing Service to be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Harrington Rest Cemetery. As we celebrate her life and legacy, we ask that you continue to keep the family lifted in prayer and surrounded with love.
