Notice of Earthly Transition: Mrs. Karol Laquita Cambridge-Jones. The Earthly Chapter (Alpha): September 3, 1965 - The Heavenly Chapter (Omega): July 9, 2026.
Remembering A Beautiful Soul
"When the gates swing open, God ordered my steps to walk right into my new heavenly home. Do not weep, I'm safe in God's arms. Dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be…"
It is with profound reverence and a spirit of celebratory remembrance that we announce the earthly transition of a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, Ms. Karol Laquita Cambridge-Jones, of Valdosta, Georgia. Surrounded by the warmth of her loving family, Karol gently closed her eyes to this world and fell asleep in the arms of Jesus, entering eternal peace.
A Life Well-Lived and Loved
Karol’s journey was one defined by dedication, faith, and community. A proud graduate of Lowndes High School, she furthered her education through studies at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Her industrious spirit led her to a fulfilling career as an Assembly Line Employee at Saft America, while her compassionate heart led her to serve others with grace as a Lady Attendant with Harrington Funeral Home Inc. Above all, her life was anchored by her devotion to the Lord as a faithful, dedicated member of St. Peter’s Church.
Her Final Testimony
Even through life’s seasons, Karol’s faith never wavered. Her enduring testimony remains a beacon of strength for us all:
"Even in all that I’ve gone through: GOD HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME! I've had some good days; I've had some hills to climb. I've had some weary days and some lonely nights, but when I look around and I think things over, all of my good days outweigh my bad days. I won’t complain, because God has been good to me. He dried all of my tears away and turned my midnight into day. So I'll just say thank you Lord, I won’t complain. Goodnight, I’ll see you all in the morning."
