Ms. MARY Lee BARRON (87) of Valdosta, Georgia – was born Saturday, May 2, 1936. “Mary” understood the words of that old familiar hymn: And when I think of God, His son not sparing, Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in; That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin Then sings my soul My Savior, God, to Thee How great thou art.
No one can prepare for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord.
Ms. Mary Lee Barron, went to sleep into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, – Homegoing Services honoring her life, are presently incomplete at this time but will be announced at a later date.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM from Union Cathedral - 1050 East Hill Avenue, Valdosta Georgia.
Ms. Mary Lee Barron will be laid to rest in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, 3945 North Valdosta Road, Valdosta, GA.

The Barron Family my deepest sympathies to all of you. I didn't know of Mother Barron passing until today. My heart is saddened she was very kind and welcoming to me and my son. May you rest in eternal peace with the Lord.
To my dear Family! I would loved to have been there with you all to say my goodbyes to Sistergirl! She meant so much to me and Phiney too. We were glad to be with you in spirit and watching it live streaming. What a beautiful service it was. There were so many lovely flowers, she was loved. We have a large family with all the young ones I haven't met yet. Sistergirls soul was sitting high and watching all the love being shown to her. Everyone talked about her cooking, well I know for myself how good she was at feeding me when I visited and on top of that Jessie added all her good food to the mix. We will continue praying for you all. May God rest her beautiful soul as she waits for us to all meet again in that great getting up morning. Rest Sistergirl in Gods arms! The passing of Aunt Sistergirl as we called her was hard for me. She was Always there for my Mom, Dad and my entire family. She was an Awesome person and wonderful Auntie. RIP Auntie.
