Official Notice of Transition: The Late Pastor John Henry Howell of Valdosta, Georgia. Sunrise: June 24, 1937, ~ Sunset: November 14, 2025, Age: 88 years.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant…” — Matthew 25:21
It is with great sorrow and deep reverence, we announce the sacred and solemn tidings that Pastor John Henry Howell was promoted to Glory on the 14th day of November, in the Year of Our Lord 2025.
A devoted shepherd…
A faithful preacher…
A pillar of strength…
A man who walked humbly with God and lovingly with God’s people.
Pastor Howell’s life was a living sermon: Preached through kindness, Lived through sacrifice, Anchored in prayer, And sealed in unwavering faith.
He now rests in the eternal presence of the Lord whom he served so well. He has exchanged the pulpit for paradise… The struggle for peace, and time for eternity.
As we honor his life and cherish his legacy, your prayers, love, and kind wishes are earnestly requested for his family and all who loved him, that the God of all comfort may wrap them in divine peace during this season of sorrow.
May his memory be a blessing. May his legacy remain a light. And may his soul find sweet rest in the arms of the Savior.
