Though I never met Sergeant Deacon Miles directly. Over 30 years ago in Germany I met his son Joe. Through his son I witnessed a legacy of service, strength, integrity, caring, and unyielding determination. This could only be possible with the superb influence of a loving father and role model. Well done good and faithful servant. Danny Foster-San Antonio, TX
Yo the family...Daddy Miles was a caring and kind hearted man. He will always be missed. "I remember that moment when I met your father at first time. He welcomed me in a very good and friendly way." You father was one of the wonderful and nicest person whose good deeds will always be remembered. I know this is the time of sadness, let the memories of your wonderful father bring you a comfort. He was a very special man. Love Jeff & Amy Thompson
