"Tan" placed her hand in the masters hand and laid her head in his loving arms and went to sleep on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center.

Tanyala Letron Calloway was born on February 4, 1970 in Hahira, GA to Jerry and Clara Daniels. She attended Valdosta City Schools and graduated from Valdosta High School in 1988. She later relocated to New Brunswick, NJ and attended Essex County Community College and returned to Valdosta, GA and studied at Valdosta State University. There, she met he love of her life in September 1993, Bennie E. Calloway, III and they were married on June 24, 1995 and from this union two children were born which are Hannah Alexis Calloway on May 2, 2004 and Kayla Savannah Calloway on October 8, 2005.

Tanyala and Dr. Calloway resided in Jacksonville, FL from 1995 to 1996 and relocated to Douglas, GA from 1996 to 2006. She was the co-founder of Abundant Life Ministries serving alongside Dr. Bennie E. Calloway, III as Pastor for 9 years. She was employed as the Activity Director of Shady Acres Convalescent Center in Douglas, GA and greatly impacted her co-workers and residents with her extreme work ethic, vibrant and energetic personality and her love for the residents. She lighted up the facility with her beautiful smile and elegant dress. She was awarded Activity Director of the Year in 2004 for the Georgia Nursing Home Association.

Tanyala and Dr. Calloway with the girls relocated to Valdosta, GA in July 2006. In December 2006, she became the Activity Director for Pruitt Healthcare (Heritage House) in Valdosta, GA after being employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant while as a college student at Valdosta State in the early 90's. In the last 13 years of her employment, she impacted the City of Valdosta for being such a bright light and an angel to residents and employees alike. She is the recipient of numerous awards Statewide and working in the convalescent facility was her mission field where she impacted lives with her godly living and positive speaking.

Tanyala was a dedicated wife to her husband Bennie for nearly 24 years and a dedicated mother to her daughters Hannah and Kayla. She has served in ministry with her husband at various churches in the South Georgia area and currently at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Thomasville, GA. She was a bona fide worshipper and gave praise to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ unashamedly and unapologetically. She believed in backing Dr. Calloway up when he preached, she was his #1 preaching fan. They walked as an anointed couple and ministry power duo. As a result, their daughters Hannah and Kayla are serving in ministry as praise and worship dancers. She also served as Vice President of Benny Calloway The Third Ministries, Inc.

Tanyala was a community volunteer for several civic organizations including but not limited to: The National Council of Negro Women, The Valdosta Cotillion, and The Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc.

Tanyala exhibited love, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, and grace to men and women from every walk of life. She empowered the lives of others by her beauty, grace, and dignity. Her life has had a far reaching impact. On May 26, 2019, she entered into eternal rest after an extended illness. Her faith was so strong and she encouraged the doctors, nurses, and the facilities of Tallahassee Memorial and South Georgia Medical Center as a valiant fighter with a will to live. She was a giving person and gave of her talents, gifts, and abilities as an encouraging exhorter and she pushed others to be the best they can be. She was a beautiful soul with a sweet spirit and a magnetic personality.

She lived by two slogans, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17)" and "I will worship and not worry."

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and dedicated husband of 24 years, Dr. Bennie E. Calloway, III; two daughters, Hannah Alexis Calloway and Kayla Savannah Calloway; her parents, Jerry and Clara Daniels and Ronney and Wanda Bythwood of Valdosta, GA; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pastor Benny Calloway, Jr. and Brenda Calloway of Fitzgerald, GA; her siblings, LaKeya (Travis) Townsend of Valdosta, GA, Donte Daniels, Corey Bea of Valdosta, Inez Roach (Albert) of Dover, DE, Ronney Bythwood, Jr. (Lynn), Newark, DE; three brothers-in-law, Kevin Calloway, Marcus Calloway, and Montriel Calloway of Fitzgerald, GA; and a host of godparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM from The New Life Ministries Church - 5651 Inner Perimeter Rd, Pastor J. Bernard Braswell is pastor however Pastor Benny E. Calloway III (her husband) will officiate.

Lady Tanyala Letron Calloway, will be laid to rest in The Southview Cemetery. Services of Comfort are entrusted into the hands of Harrington Funeral Home Inc, Valdosta Ga.
