Funeral service for Abbie Davis, 76, of Tuskegee, AL, formerly Union Springs, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church, 2324 Double Hill Road, Opelika, AL, 36804, with interment in the church cemetery, Pastor Sharrod Coleman will officiate.

Mrs. Davis, who passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at her home in Tuskegee, Alabama, was born April 23, 1949, in Bullock County, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Avril Malinda Faye Moore (Darrell) Manuel of Banks, AL; bonus daughter, Toki Moore of Phenix City, AL; bonus son, William Moore, Jr., of Hartford, CT; three step-children, Jammie (Gwendolyn) Davis of Smiths Sation, AL, Jeremy Davis of Opelika, AL and Jamal Davis of Opelika, AL; a host of grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; five siblings, Rebecca Henry of Rochester, NY, Huey (Ollie) Byrd of Union Springs, AL, Mary Byrd of Hartford, CT, Ethel (Clifton) Archie of Union Springs, AL and Clarence Williams of California; one aunt, Dorothy (Henderson) Biggers of Miami, FL; devoted bonus mother Gertha Jane Byrd of Union Springs, AL; five bonus sisters, Diane (Willie) Jordan of Tuskegee, AL; Debbie (Albert) Harris, Jacqueline Patterson, Valerie Byrd and Keyla Byrd, all of Union Springs, AL; two bonus brothers, Thomas Davis and John Byrd Jr., both of Union Springs, AL; special friends, Viola (Frank) Colquitt and Regina (Corey) Meadows both of Opelika, Alabama; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
