Graveside service for Adorothy Dunn, 70, of Opelika, AL, formerly Valley, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m. (CST), Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1487 Lee Road 372, Valley, AL 36854, Reverend James Hill, Pastor and Minister Bobbie Ogletree, Eulogist.

Mr. Dunn, who passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home in Opelika, AL, was born September 23, 1950 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, May 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (CST)

He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Patrice (Steven) Strong, Eddie (Jolander) Stokes both of Opelika, AL and Adolph LaToy (Jasmine) Dunn of Valley, AL; one stepdaughter, Beverly Strickland of Phenix City, AL; one stepson, Arthur (Kim) Harris of Phenix City, AL; fourteen grandchildren, Jaquavious, Zaquirias, I’zavious, Jasmine, Nieshay, Amya, Damarous, Adolph, Jr., Lajavious, Yasmine, Shahollinie, Somorica, Javon and Messiah; one great grandchild, Jaquavious; two sisters, Vearthan Dunn and Elaine Williams both of Valley, AL; four brothers, Johnny Dunn of Salem, AL, Willie Randy (Shay) Dunn of Opelika, AL, Willie Ray (Jackie) Dunn of Valley, AL and Willie J. (Annie) Dunn of Lanett, AL; four nieces and nephews that he reared as his own, Tineshia, Tito, Michael and Rantavious all of Valley, AL; two brothers-in-law, Marcus Posey of Columbus, GA and Lummey Horton of Beulah, AL; one sister-in-law, Martha Dunn of Opelika, AL; one aunt; one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
