Funeral service for Andrew Williams, 68, of Salem, AL, will be at 12:00 noon (EST), Friday, November 7, 2025, at Mountain Springs Baptist Church, 4789 Lee Road 158, Salem, AL 36874 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Pastor George Rampey will officiate.
Mr. Williams, who passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 at Piedmont-Midtown Hospital in Columbus, GA, was born February 4, 1957, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (EST). The family will be present to receive family and friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (EST)
Mr. Williams will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Andre Williams of Opelika, AL; a grandson, Kade Williams of Opelika, AL; a loving mother, Catherine Williams of Salem, AL; two sisters, Jerelene (Roger) Morgan of Smith Station, AL and Sue J. William of Salem, AL; one brother, Jerry (Alicia) Williams, Sr. of Seattle, WA; one nephew, Jerry (Roshell) Williams, Jr. of Seattle, WA; one niece, Crystal Morgan of Smith Station, AL; three great-nephews, Izear Williams, Chrishawn Morgan and Jermel Moss; one great-niece, Alicia J. Williams; special cousins, Kevin Williams, Eugene Fitzpatrick and Robert C. Robertson; special friends, L.V. Lily, Marvin Dukes and Charles Allen; a host of other relatives and friends.
To Mrs. Catherine Williams and Family, we are deeply sorry for your dear loss of your son "Junior ". May God embrace you and your family with his unfailing love and greatest comfort 🙏.
