Funeral service for Angela Stovall, 54, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Pastor Mamie Pennington will officiate.
Mrs. Stovall, who passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 1, 1971, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Monday, October 6, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Peaches Hunter and Octavious Hunter both of Opelika, AL; a bonus daughter, Bianca Hardnett of Opelika, AL; her mother, Earline Henderson of Opelika, AL; nine grandchildren; including a special granddaughter, Damiya Jones, along with Jaydian Hunter, Re’Ginae Stevenson, X’Zavian Hunter, Mekhi Stevenson, Jordan Hunter, Jamani Hunter, Londyn Wilson and Mhazi Wilson all of Opelika, AL; a great granddaughter, Jah’Navi Hunter of Opelika, AL; two bonus grandchildren, Yarianna Carr and Peyton Todd both of Opelika, AL; five brothers, De’Andre Harris, Brian Harris, David B. Johnson, Torrie Johnson all of Opelika, AL and Calvin Johnson of Atlanta, GA; two special sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Lockhart and Mable (Bobby) Farrow; special cousins, Eric (Seprena) Dowdell of Opelika, AL; good friend, David Jackson of Opelika, AL; special friend as a sister, Latoya Hughley of Lafayette, AL; her special friend group known as “The Girls”; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
To my cousin cookie you've always been there for me every time I spend time to visit Opelika you always greet with that charming smile 😊 even when use to spend half of the summer there you've always taken time with me and you're one hell of a Spade card player even though I couldn't play worth a crap but you earlene Evelyn and ain't Mary Joe y'all play all day and half of the night but that kept everything going cuz it never was a dull moment but there's been a lot of memories even the time you came up here you hated Atlanta I thought you were kidding but you haven't been back for real but one thing I can't say and I will say I'm going to miss you Cookie a whole lot you are more than a cousin you like my little big sister rest in peace your crazy cousin Tim
