Obituary For Annie Combs

Funeral service for Annie Combs, 73, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Veryl D. Gilbert will officiate.

Ms. Combs, who passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Canterbury Health Center in Phenix City, Alabama, was born May 24, 1950, in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, November 10, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Ms. Combs will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: a devoted daughter, Geraldine Combs of Auburn, AL; a son, Robert Combs of Auburn, AL; devoted loving daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn Walker Combs of Killeen, TX; eight grandchildren, Demarious Heard of Atlanta, GA, Jasmine Combs, Richard Combs, Jr,, Rihanna Combs, all of Killeen, TX, Rosario Cooper, Ja’Von Combs, Deonte’ Combs and Ja’Quan Combs all of Auburn, AL; one sister, Barbara Terrell of Opelika, AL; stepbrother, James Kyle of Auburn, AL; seven first cousins, Patsy Tolbert of Opelika, AL, Glady Cummings of St. Petersburg, FL, Dorothy Slaughter, Inez Martin, Barbara Howard, Jessie (Cary) Combs all of Auburn, AL and John Buford of Montgomery, AL; special friend, Tommy Devoise of Auburn, AL; bonus daughter, Lakeisha Smith of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
