Funeral service for Annie Jean Stallworth, 75, of Valley, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m. (EST), Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Community Baptist Church, 1300 Whites Mill Road, Valley, AL, 36854 with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Valley, AL, 36854, Reverend David L. Core, Pastor, Reverend Tony Avery, Officiating.
Mrs. Stallworth, who passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born July 14, 1948, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Monday, January 22, 2024 from, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (EST)
Family hour from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. (EST)
Mrs. Stallworth will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: husband, Clinton Stallworth of Lanett, AL; one loving, devoted daughter and caregiver, Delilah (O’Neal) Florence, Valley, AL; a grandson she cared for as a son, Kendrick Florence of Stockbridge, GA; six grandchildren, Eddicos Dunn of Valley, AL, Mario Florence of Opelika, AL, Tymarion Florence of Omaha, NE, Angelica (Ron) Kelley of Lanett, AL, Richard (Star) Hopkins and Tomeshia Baker both of Birmingham, AL; a special great-grandchild her “Sugar Doll”, Autumn Florence; seven great-grandchildren; one loving sister, Mary Linda Smith (Tony Nero) of Lanett, AL; two special goddaughters, Glenda (Patrick) Sheats of Athens, GA and Mary Lou (Royzell) Floyd of Valley, AL; eleven sisters-in-law, Mae Ole Core of Valley, AL, Lola Core of Lanett, AL, Mary Peterson, Doris (Benny) Dowdell both of Opelika, AL, Rosetta (Fred) Williams, Jaqueline Stallworth both of Killen, TX, Fannie Stallworth, Carolyn Stallworth both of Cincinnati, OH, Bettye Stallworth, Mary Stallworth and Cecilia White all of New York; eight brothers-in-law, Claude Madden, Jr. of Valley, AL, Willie Madden, Steve (Maryann) Madden, Cleveland Madden all of Opelika, AL, Charles Stallworth of California, Jimmy Stallworth of Alabama, James (Carolyn) Stallworth and Frank (Deynean) White both of Bronx, NY; a niece and nephew who she loved as her own, Lois Jones of Lanett, AL and Larry Scott of Edgewater, FL; one special friend, Raynell Bonner of Lanett, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
