Funeral service for Annie Lewis, 70, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Bishop Nolan T. Torbert will officiate.

Mrs. Lewis, who passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at her home in Auburn, Alabama, was born May 19, 1954 in Elmore County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Quake Heard of Opelika, AL, Vitankey “Orland” (Eddie, Jr.) Cason of Auburn, AL and Jenerio (Adonica) Heard of Montgomery, AL; one step-son, Joseph Johnson of Lafayette, AL; ten grandchildren, LaDerious (Shabrana) Heard, Jamecia “Jasmine” Combs, Melik (Elizabeth) Heard, Eddie (Destiny) Cason III, Kendrick Simpkins, Jeniya Heard, Jenerio Heard Jr., Angelina Cason, Jemerion Heard and London Johnson; a host of great-grandchildren; her siblings, Fred Myree of Jonesboro, GA, Arthur (Yolanda) Maddox, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, Gregory (Diana) Maddox of Montgomery, AL, Patricia (Danny) Reese of Auburn, AL, Sylvia Maddox Slater (Tyrone McCurdy) of Loachapoka, AL, Darryl (Deloris) Maddox of Opelika, AL, Joyce Golden of Hampton, VA, Linda Faye Maddox of Waycross, GA, Freddie (Alesia) Maddox of Hampton, GA, Wayne (Phyllis) Strickland of Opelika, AL, John (Sharon) Dunn, Daron Brooks both of Valley, AL, Vallencia (Thomas) Hernandez of Opelika, AL, Shervario Finley, Alvin (Patricia) Brooks both of Valley, AL and Nancy Kyles of Notasulga, AL; extended family, Shonique Nichols and family of Springfield, MA; devoted friend as a “brother” Bishop Nolan T.
