Obituary For Beatrice Ashmore "BB" Webb
Funeral service for Beatrice Webb, 85, of Opelika, AL will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2000 South Uniroyal Road, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Reverend Dr. George McCulloh will officiate.
Mrs. Webb, who passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born April 6, 1940 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Monday, November 3, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Webb will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Carl Webb of Opelika, AL; step-daughter, Tanakai Goosby of Opelika, AL; daughter-in-law, Betty Gibson of Opelika, AL; one grandson, Malik Gibson of Opelika, AL; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Durr Ashmore of Auburn, AL and William “Bill” Ashmore of Opelika, AL; her devoted sister, Hazel Lindsey of Opelika, AL; one brother-in-law, Willie L. Walton; one aunt, Mary Foster of Knoxville, TN; devoted cousin, Mary Collins of Opelika, AL; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
