Obituary For Belinda Patrick Grimmett
Funeral service for Belinda Grimmett, 74, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Marvin Mervin will officiate.
Mrs. Grimmett, who passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born December 24, 1950, in Chambers County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. β 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Ovell Grimmett of Auburn, AL; two children, Anthony (Alesia) Grimmett of Tuscaloosa, AL and LaKisha Grimmett of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Brittney Strozer, Miyah (Resha) Ligon, Jada Grimmett, Kayla Grimmett, Tyamber Willis, T.J. Harris and Shunkeeta Boyd; two great-grandchildren, Ava Ligon and Alaya Ray; two sisters, Bernatte Patrick of Opelika, AL and Rose (Percy) Marks of Cusseta, AL ; one brother, Charles (Shavon) Patrick of Opelika, AL; one sister-in-law, Mary Jackson of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
