Obituary For Bernice Holland

Funeral service for Bernice Stinson, 81, of Auburn, AL, will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2023, at Zion at the Hill A.M.E. Zion Church, 3845 Lee Road 29, Opelika, AL 36804 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.

Mrs. Holland, who passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at her home in Auburn, AL, was born February 28, 1942 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required.)

Mrs. Holland will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Tony Holland, Bernard Holland, Arnitra Holland all of Auburn, AL and Hosa Holland of Opelika, AL; ten grandchildren, Melissa Tolbert of Tuskegee, AL, Deavon Holland, Confort Holland, Jacob Bernard Holland all of Opelika, AL, Christopher Tolbert, Jerrick Tolbert, Kentavious Holland, Damian Holland, Mia Holland, Jamie Holland all of Auburn, AL; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Jean Cook, Gail (Iassa) Wilson both of Auburn, AL and Annie Lois Shealey of Loachapoka, AL; four sisters-in-law, Hazel (Lincoln) Jefferson of Detroit, MI, Gwen Holland of Birmingham, AL, Mildred Dallas of Auburn, AL and Michell Holland of Dayton, OH; four brothers-in-law, David Holland of Auburn, AL, Brando Holland of Dayton, OH, Terry Holland of Oakland, CA and Tony (Sharon) Holland of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
