Obituary For Bernice “Mama B” Webb Hill

Funeral service for Bernice Hill, 74, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL 36830, Reverend Curtis Vines will officiate.

Mrs. Hill, who passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born September 27,1949 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: eight children, Jean-Paul Findley, Paulette Findley, Tony (Kenotta) Thornton all of Auburn, AL, Paula Hill of Phenix City, AL, Cheryl Craig, James D. Hill, Jr., Teddy Hill all of Gary, IN and Gabe Marshall of Augusta, GA; eleven grandchildren; Michael Hill, Kaden Thornton, Davonna Craig, Daryl Craig, Courtney Findley, Blake Findley, LaKebia Findley, Keyanna Findley, Kierra Findley, Jean Long, Sr. and Demarcus Benford; one sister, Betty Jean Pitts of Opelika, AL; one brother, Joseph Webb of Auburn, AL; four sisters-in-law, Sarah Mills of Opelika, AL, JoAnn Johnson of Ozark, AL, Nelle Crump of West Point, MS and Mabel (Willie) Robinson of Auburn, AL; four brothers-in-law, Larry (LaBarbara) Hill of Columbus, GA, Otis (Alicia) Hill of Harker Heights, TX, Arthur (Bennie) Hill, Jr. of Lompoc, CA and Michael (Mary Jo) Hill, Sr. of San Antonio, TX; a special friend, Ernestine Evans of Auburn, AL; a devoted caregiver as a daughter, Victoria C. Willis of Opelika, AL; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
