Obituary For Bettie Lou Tyson
Funeral service for Bettie Tyson, 84, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL, 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Reverend Anthony Shealey will officiate.
Ms. Tyson, who passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Auburn, Alabama, was born January 14, 1941, in Macon County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Tyson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter she raised as her own, Anita Tyson of Auburn, AL; one grandson, Za’Quane J. Tyson of Savannah, GA; one great-granddaughter, Ava Marie Tyson of San Antonio, FL; three sisters, Lucille Tyson, Shalonda Tyson both of Loachapoka, AL and Murral Tyson-Lemon of Sandersville, GA; one brother-in-law, Clifford Maddox of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
