Funeral service for Brenda Hodge, 56, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon., Friday, February 28, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Bishop Larry Johnson will officiate.

Ms. Hodge, who passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 29, 1969, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: two children, Brittney Hodge and Terry Hodge; ten grandchildren, Kenna Truitt, Ladarien Grady, J. Brayden Hodge all of Opelika, AL, Skylar Williams of Auburn, AL, Bentlee Wright of Montgomery, AL, Khloe Grady, Ava Grady both of Opelika, AL, Terriah Hodge of Auburn, AL, Novah Wright and Nahla Wright both of Montgomery, AL; mother, Annie R. Hodge; five sisters, Jenda Hodge, Annie (Andre) Hodge both of Opelika, AL. Faye Moore of Crawford, AL, Jacke (Robert) Mitchell of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Mary Griffin of Seale, AL; one brother, Rufus Moore of Opelika, AL; one uncle, Johnny Beasley; two aunts, Sally Brooks and Ethel Buchanon; five nephews, Marcus Hodge, Marqueze Hodge, Tamicheal Hodge, Quinderrius Preston and Deandre Hodge; one niece, Olivia Preston; special friend, Timothy Driver of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
