Graveside service for Carnell Dorsey, 68, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2025, at Memory Hill Cemetery, Highway 280 East, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Willie J. Lyles will officiate.
Mr. Dorsey, who passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama was born January 11, 1957, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, Tameika Jenkins (Jarabus) Peters of Opelika, AL; five grandchildren, Jaravan Peters, Jaylan Peters, Jordan Peters, Jasmyne Peters and Jada Peters all of Opelika, AL; two great-grandchildren, Novah Peters and Nolan Peters both of Opelika, AL; one sister, Earnestine Dorsey of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Willie Frank Dorsey of Opelika, AL and Lorenza (Bettye) Dorsey of Auburn, AL; one sister-in-law, Ellen Dorsey of Camp Hill, AL; three nephews, Antonio (Shante’) Dorsey of University Place, WA, Brandon (Misty) Dorsey of Charlotte, NC and Jamaal (Jennifer) Greer of Newnan, GA; one niece, Charvielle (Jada) Greer of New Orleans, LA; a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
