Obituary For Carolyn Denise Knight
Funeral service for Carolyn Knight, 60, of Waverly, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend V. Dion Gilbert will officiate.
Ms. Knight, who passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026 at her home in Waverly, Alabama, was born March 25, 1966, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, September 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Knight will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Fannie Mae Knight of Waverly, AL; one sister, Priscilla Knight Bickley of Eclectic, AL; an aunt, Emma Jean Rowell of Loachapoka, AL and a devoted and caring aunt, Eliza Mae Knight of Waverly, AL; two nieces, KaiShonta (Dan) Benson of Opelika, AL and Kaitlyn Riggins of Eclectic, AL; one nephew, Jakobi Bickley of Waverly, AL; two great-nieces, Ava Benson and Kailoni Bickley; two great-nephews, Kadence Bickley and Bryce Bickley; a friend, Dearo Judkins; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family of Ms. Carolyn Denise Knight acknowledges with grateful appreciation all acts of kindness, prayers, cards, telephone calls, flowers, and words of comfort extended to us during our time of bereavement. May God bless each of you.
