Funeral Service for Ceola Davis, 72, of Auburn, AL, will at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, 2315 Lee Road 10, Auburn, AL, 36830 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Pastor Maurice Wood will officiate.
Mrs. Davis, who passed away Friday, July 14, 2023 at Dadeville Health Care in Dadeville, Alabama, was born March 25, 1951, in Macon County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Davis will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, James (Kanisha) Howard of Auburn, AL, Antonio (Devona) Howard of Monroe, LA and Keylunda (Derrick) Wilson of Notasulga, AL; step-children, Lakeshia (Rasheek) Morris of Opelika, AL and Jermaine Davis of Salem, AL; two sisters, Annie Lee Benson of Auburn, AL and Fannie Sanders of Syracuse, NY; fifteen grandchildren, Desmond (Easter) Scott, Monisha Jones, Laterrance Scott, Martavious Morgan, James Howard, Jr., Shambria Scott, Tyrese Howard, Ju’Kayla Howard, Ja’Tavious Howard, Shaunquenetta Ivey, A’Mayah Howard, Dakayla Howard, A’Keyla Howard, Qwadarious Wilson and Kajel Wilson; sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Katie B. Bass, Selena Bass, Lillian Bass all of Auburn, AL and Bobbie (Jack) Williams of Salem, AL; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Davis of Beauregard, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
