Obituary For Charles Houston “BB” Hall, Jr.

Funeral service for Charles Hall, Jr. 44, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend George McCulloh will officiate.

Mr. Hall, who passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the UAB Hospital in Birmingham Alabama, was born October 27, 1979, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two children, Charlesha Maria Hall and Charles Houston Hall III both of Opelika, AL; mother, Glenda Strickland Stephens of Opelika, AL; one sister, Betty Jean Hall of Opelika, AL; one brother, Remus Mennifield of Opelika, AL; three aunts, Wanda (Willie B) Weathers, Angela (Michael) Hughley both of Opelika, AL and Ann Hall (Dexter) Torbert of Douglasville, GA; seven uncles, Arthur James Strickland, Larry (Victoria) Strickland, Willie James Patrick, Michael Anthony Patrick, Homer (Zoyanna) Patrick, LaRay Hall and Ronnie Hall all of Opelika, AL; three special childhood friends as brothers, Sandor Frazier, Deion Drummond both of Auburn, AL and Michael Frazier of Austin, TX; two god-sons, Spark Gilmore and LaDarius Edwards both of Opelika, AL; three great-aunts, Grace Horton, Louise Andrews both of Cleveland, OH and Nellie (Willie) McCurdy of Newnan, GA; one great-uncle, William (Renita) Strickland of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
