Obituary For Charlie James "Pete" Bryant
Graveside service for Charlie Bryant, 64, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Cornell Battle will officiate.
Mr. Bryant, who passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Eskenazi Health Care Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, was born March 19, 1959 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Memories of his life will be cherished by: three children, Deverell (Felisha) Bryant, Latrice (Larry) Bryant-Stinson both of Opelika, AL and Tyrone Burton of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren, Deverious Bryant, Ambriah Bryant, Mya Bryant, Jasmin Meadows, Brayden Stinson, Lauryn Stinson, Cayden Bryant and Tymon Howard; two uncles, Leonard (Mary Helen) Bryant of Opelika, AL and Taylor (Essie Rene) Bryant of Gary, IN; a special friend, Jacqueline Sharpe of Indianapolis, IN; two special cousins as brothers, Samuel “Bay Child” Bryant and Cornell Battle; a special cousin as a sister, Ernestine “Tine” Brooks; a host of other relatives and friends.
