Obituary For Cornelius Quentez Stringer

Graveside service for Cornelius Stringer, 35, of Cusseta, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Bethel No. 1 Missionary Baptist Old Church Cemetery, Highway 29 Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Terry Magby will officiate.

Mr. Stringer, who passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home in Cusseta, AL, was born June 21, 1985 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing for Mr. Stringer will be Monday, February 1, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Survivors include: parents, Ellis (Sara) Ricks of Lafayette, AL and Alicia Brooks of Cusseta, AL; maternal grandmother, Betty Stringer of Cusseta, AL; paternal grandmother, Annie Ricks of Valley, AL; two sisters, Mikeshia Stringer of Cusseta, AL and Elricia Frazier of Auburn, AL; two brothers, Frederick Stringer of Cusseta, AL and Joshua (Rose) Swint of Opelika, AL; a devoted friend, Shaneria Blakes of Lafayette, AL; maternal uncles, Johnnie Stringer, Jr. of Cusseta, AL, Frank (Deborah) Stringer of Valley, AL, Willie (Vickie) Stringer of West Point, GA and Jerome (Maxine) Stringer of Opelika, AL; a special niece, Makashia Brooks of Cusseta, AL; special friends, Desbre “Scoota” Finley of Valley, AL, Corris Portis of Hoover, AL, Roderick Fuller of Greensboro, NC, SkyBrel Hardnett of LaGrange, GA and Sabrona Morris of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
