Funeral service for Dontavious Shealey, 33, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at New Spirit Missionary Baptist Church, 3302 Dale Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, with interment in Mt. Traveler Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1229 S. Dawson Avenue, Auburn, AL, 36830, Reverend Tyrone Edward, Pastor and Bishop Ernest Griggs, Eulogist.
Mr. Shealey, who passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 in Auburn, Alabama, was born May 25, 1991, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Shealey will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: father, Willie Raymond Logan, Jr. of Opelika, AL; mother, Jacquline Shealey of Auburn, AL; grandmother, Virginia Shealey of Auburn, AL; six siblings, Angel Shealey, Aquerrah Cannon, Ozias Logan, Kaelin Logan, Nathan Logan all of Opelika, AL and Jarquavious Ricks of Loachapoka, AL; three uncles, Darrin (Felicia) Shealey of Valley, AL, Nathaniel (Lisa) Shealey of Phenix City, AL and Hamp Tolbert of Bergenfield, NJ; two nephews, Pernell Mitchell and Kentrell Shealey both of Auburn, AL; a special cousin, Ashton Shealey of Phenix City, AL; a special friend, Rod Melton of Auburn, AL; a host of cousins, other relatives and loving close friends.
