Doug, not only remembered as a classmate of The Greatest...The Class of 1977; but, as a lifelong friend, neighbor, childhood community member with many memories, and more.

Doug will truly be missed. But...no more pain and suffering for him. Prayers for Mary, and children, Dwayne, and all family members and friends. May God shed his love upon you all and embrace each of you in his loving arms. We will keep you all in prayers🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽!!! We just traveled that road of God calling our mother home, 5 weeks ago...we know and understand the pains. God got us...and you all🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽!!!!

Our prayers and condolences to the families. We've known the families for ALL of our lives having gone to schools together and I remember him as the Juice too. I remember back in the days one night at the Famous Door Club he was there and he were looking for someone to model on the stage with him, Denise LaSalle were there and he couldn't find anybody and he asked me and I said NO,being caught off guard and NOT to mention nervous and shy, but he were persistent and wouldn't take no for an answer,he was pulling one way and I was pulling the other trying to get away, it was so funny,but in the end I gave in and modeled across the stage with him. Those were the good ole days in the eighties. He was a joy to be around he and Dewayne. Continue to rest "Juice The Deuce" and I'm going to miss you. Debra and The Tyner's Beauregard AL 🕊️🕊️🙏🙏

Rest in power, my childhood hero! He will always be #32, The Juice, to me! We were childhood friends, playing, listening to the Jackson 5 and more! Playing softball for Marvyn Tex. Ahh, the memories! We grew up right next to each other and mama looked out for them. Later, in the 90s when he lived next to mama, he and Dwayne would often come by and tell her how much they appreciated her!
