Obituary For Dwight Patrick "Pat" Seroyer
Funeral service for Dwight Seroyer, 69, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Clifford E. Jones will officiate.
Mr. Seroyer, who passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born February 9, 1957, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. β 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Juanita Seroyer of Opelika, AL; four children, Jarwaski (Danny) Shoy of Atlanta, GA, Marell (Ann) Seroyer, Whitney (Fredrick) Crim both of Opelika, AL and Demetrious Seroyer both of Ft. Mitchell, AL; six grandchildren; five siblings, Delores Dixon of Atlanta, GA, Jesse (Novelette) Seroyer, Jr., Charlie Seroyer both of Opelika, AL, Crystal Denise (Otis) Brooks of Stockbridge, GA and Veronica Seroyer of Savannah, GA; a devoted friend, Terence Davis of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

I've known Pat since I was 12, during summers spent in Opelika, and he has always been a kind, thoughtful gentleman with a warm smile and a memorable bass-filled voice. My sincere condolences to the Seroyer family, Charlie and the rest. You fellows grew up one block from where my family lived on 6th street, although we moved when I was 8 years old. I remember Charlie sitting in our living room watching cartoons with me on Saturday morning. That was unheard of in 1964,but he was my friend. Time has flown by and I miss all of you.
