Graveside service for Earnest Webb, 65, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Mt. Traveler Missionary Baptist Church, 1229 South Dawson Avenue, Waverly, AL, 36879, Pastor George Dowdell will officiate.
Mr. Webb, who passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born February 23, 1958, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, December 15, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. β 2:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Shamekia Webb of Opelika, AL; mother, Claudia Webb of Dadeville, AL; three grandchildren, Qurtavious (Maggie) Webb, Tityana Webb (Jesus William) and Omarion Brooks (Haileigh Walker) all of Opelika, AL; five great-grandchildren, Catherine Webb, Adalyn Webb, Neyon Williams, Haiden Walker and Navee Lee Williams; five sisters, Mary Webb Thomas of Waverly, AL, Barbara Brooks, Norma Jean Thomas both of Opelika, AL, Blondean Webb of Montgomery, AL and Cynthia Matthews of Louisiana; three brothers, Clement (Tonya) Webb of Atlanta, GA, Pastor George (Brenda) Dowdell of Dadeville, AL and Warner Webb of Opelika, AL; special niece, Shakeela Webb; two devoted nephews, Demetric Donte (Cecelia) Webb and Lardarius Webb; two aunts, Maggie Dunn and Mary Williams both of Auburn, AL; special aunt, Hattie Lou Williams of Auburn, AL; one uncle, James Williams of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
