Obituary For Edwina Scott-Debardelabon
Funeral service for Edwina Debardelabon, 69, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 28, 2025, at Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church, 4454 Lee Road 166, Opelika, AL, 36804, with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend S. Dewayne Drakeford will officiate.
Mrs. Debardelabon, who passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at Exceptional Community Hospital in Maricopa, Arizona, was born August 31, 1956, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Debardelabon will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Mandy Askeyne Brown (Michael) of Maricopa, AZ; four grandchildren, I' Zaeya Bowie, Zideja Bowie, Javassi Bowie and Dontae Webb all of Maricopa, AZ; one great-granddaughter, Virginia Rose Bowie; three sisters, Lilllie Bell Ingram of Atlanta, GA, Brenda Scott of Nyack, NY and Mamie Morgan of Montgomery, AL; one aunt, Mary Thomas of Opelika, AL; six sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; cousins like sisters, Phyllis Fuller and Dorothy Carlisle Reese both of Opelika, AL; special niece, Shenice Scott; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
