Funeral service for Eliza Wright, 89, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Reverend Monique Summers will officiate.
Mrs. Wright, who passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born October 12, 1931, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing for Mrs. Wright will be Friday, July 9, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Yolanda Hughley of Opelika, AL and Carla Haynes of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Derrick L. Hughley of Opelika, AL, Johnson (Myrtis) Haynes III of Mobile, AL and Ryan Haynes of Tallahassee, FL; one great grandson, Derrick L. Hughley, Jr. of Opelika, AL; one sister, Mae Liza Moore of Opelika, AL; one brother-in-law, Charles (Henrietta) Wright of Dale City, VA; two sisters-in-law, Bettye (Jimmy) Yarde of Evans, GA and Frances Wright of Opelika, AL; a host of special nieces, special nephews, other relatives and friends.
ALL CHAPEL SERVICES will be limited to ONE HUNDRED PEOPLE. ALL PERSONS entering the Chapel MUST WEAR A MASK/FACE COVERING in order to ATTEND the service.
