Obituary For Ella Lee "Baby Sister" Dowdell Webb
Funeral service for Ella Webb, 75, of Waverly, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church, 377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL 36850 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Otis Tyner, Jr. will officiate.
Mrs. Webb, who passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born May 12, 1946 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, April 29, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
Mrs. Webb will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Jacob Webb of Waverly, AL; six children, Dianne Ware of LaFayette, AL, Shameka (Tony) Reeder of Birmingham, AL, Chiquita Reeder of Camp Hill, AL, Calvin Reeder, Jimmy Reeder both of Auburn, AL and Alvin (Ruth) Reeder of Opelika, AL; fifteen grandchildren, Merreka “Marie” Ware, John (Shalaundra) Ware, Kimberlin Fears, Anthony Reeder, Predecious Reeder, Morgan Brundage, Jamario Wright, Zaquavian Russell, Delover Shaver, Chanquez McCullough, Cha’Ayan McCullough, Cha’Allan McCullough, Chasetin McCullough, Londyn Bell and Chandon Reeder; eight great grandchildren; five sisters, Nellie Driver, Virginia (James) Dowdell both of Opelika, AL, Bobbie Jean Webb, Carolyn Dowdell both of Auburn, AL and Martha Ann (Dexter) Smith of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Jessie (Donna Sue) Dowdell of Camp Hill, AL and James (Greta) Dowdell of Auburn, AL; three aunts, Wylean Dowdell of Camp Hill, AL, Katie Bee Bass of Loachapoka, AL and Odie Bell Melton of Opelika, AL; three sisters-in-law, Mattie (Willie James) Newson, Annie Jean Rowe and Juanita Robinson all of Auburn, AL; four brothers-in-law, Joe (Fannie) Webb, Jessie Webb, Tommie Webb all of Auburn, AL, Nathaniel (Linda) Webb of Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
