Funeral service for Ella Fears, of Salem, AL; will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Shiloh #2 A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, 333 Lee Road 166, Opelika, AL, 36804, Reverend Benjamin Cannon will officiate.
Mrs. Fears passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama,
Public viewing will be Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Virginia Fears and Patricia Fears both of Salem, AL; bonus daughter, Fannie Kate McBride of Smith Station, AL; two grandchildren, Calvin T. (Danielle) Fears of Toledo, OH and Renaldo Thomas of Opelika, AL; two great-grandchildren, Jarren B. Thomas and Shyranez Fears both of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Fears of Atlanta, GA; three sisters-in-law, Ernestine Thomas of Motts, AL, Margie Fears and Marjorie McGhee both of Opelika, AL; one brother-in-law, William (Lonzia) Fears of Cleveland, OH; special nephew, Wilbur Baldwin of Salem, AL; special niece, Kembrely (Nicholas) Fudge, of Phenix City, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
