Obituary For Eugene “Fella” Bedell
Funeral service for Eugene Bedell, 72, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Brother Jeremy Sanders will officiate.
Mr. Bedell, who passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, was born June 18, 1952, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Monday, January 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: six sisters, Annie Bedell, Shirley Drake, Debra (Ron) Oliver all of Opelika, AL, Mary Coleman of Staten Island, NY, Bettye (John L.) Williams and Nancy Jackson both of Auburn, AL; one brother-in-law, Jesse Scott of Queens, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
