Graveside service for Fabion Mennifield, 28, of Atlanta, GA, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Robert Cadenhead will officiate.

Mr. Mennifield, who passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Opelika, AL, was born July 16, 1992 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing for Mr. Mennifield will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mennifield of Opelika, AL and Cynthia Mennifield of Atlanta, GA; five sisters, Ebony Nelms of Columbus, GA, Kyeisha Webb, Shambria Webb, Alexis Mennifield all of Opelika, AL and Brittney Mennifield of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Sammetrius Brooks of Atlanta, GA and Wintavious Mennifield of Opelika, AL; seven uncles, David Baker of Atlanta, GA, Jenkins (Christy) Wright, Moses Baker, Curtis (Barbara) Mennifield, Michael (Pamela) Mennifield, David Lee Mennifield and Eric Kellum all of Opelika, AL; four aunts, Shirly Mennifield of Birmingham, AL, Pamela Mennifield of Dadeville, AL, Monica Brooks and Rochetta Young both of Auburn, AL; two special great-aunts, Mary Jean Hunter of Lanett, AL and Carolyn (Doc) Johnson of Opelika, AL; five nephews, LaCaiden Brooks, Ayden Brooks of Atlanta, GA, CoReion Hunter of Columbus, GA, Kemavion Meniefield and Isaac Jones both of Opelika, AL; five nieces, Caniya Mitchell, Zykeria Mitchell, Destani Webb all of Opelika, AL, Elaysia Nelms and Ivy Nelms both of Columbus, GA; devoted companion, Darlean Tolbert of Opelika, AL; two god-fathers, James (Cynthia) Dowdell and Willie “PC” Meredith both of Opelika, AL; special friends, Antrone Maddox, Taeboe Dawson and Chris Dowdell all of Opelika, AL; a host of cousins and friends.
