Funeral service for Helen Johnson, 90, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, February 2, 2024, at New Adka Missionary Baptist Church, 21 North Thornton Road, Dadeville, AL, 36850 with interment in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, 835 Valley Road, Camp Hill, AL 36850, Reverend Edward Milner will officiate.
Ms. Johnson, who passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama, was born December 28, 1933, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Johnson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Tracey of Opelika, AL, a niece whom she raised as her own daughter; four sisters, Evelyn Johnson, Faye Perry both of Camp Hill, AL, Shirley Patterson of Mobile, AL and Alice (Gus) Bell of Chantilly, VA; two granddaughters, Apryl Peavey and Chelsea Peavey; two nephews, Kenneth (Tabithia) Bouie and Christopher (Kirstin) Bell; five nieces, Angela Cobb, Nicole Young, Carmiane Patterson, Charmiane Patterson and Tameka (Kiel) Robinson; six great nephews, DeNiro Bouie, Marcus Lundy, Brennen Suttle, Brandon Peterson, Cameron Peterson and Jackson Bell; four great nieces, Shavario Maddox, Morgan Cobb, Peyton Robinson and Elyse Bell; three great- great nephews, Kenvaris Maddox, Keylon Bouie and Daylon Bouie; two great- great nieces; A’Lyric Bouie and A’Lajah Bouie; three great- grandchildren, Nylah Bleu Griffin, Zayden Disnute and Skylar Disnute; many other close relatives and friends; also a special friend Larry Trailor (Peewee).
