Funeral service for Inicea Youson, 85, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2026, at New Life Baptist Church, 24533 US Highway 80, Opelika, AL, 36804 with interment in the church cemetery, Pastor Bruce Conage will officiate.
Mrs. Youson, who passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born August 19, 1941, in Calhoun County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, September 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. โ 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Youson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Joe Youson of Opelika, AL; three children, Bernard (Lorie) Youson of Phenix City, AL, Carlton Youson and Tyrone (Tara) Youson both of Opelika, AL; twelve grandchildren, Horace Youson, Jr. Herschel Youson, Lacrecia Youson, Stevenson (Panequa) Love, Ebony (Jerome) Barnett, Kendra Youson, Jonicea Morgan, Jasmine (Mario) Daveport and Tyrone (Kristina) Youson, Jr., Kenard Johnson, Jasmine Speakman and Hannah Smith; a host of great-grandchildren; three sisters, Annie Ruth Grant of Opelika, AL, Claudia Gene Stinson of Phenix City, AL and Anna Williams of Hemet, CA; three brothers, Michael (Mane) Williams of Tampa, FL, Sam Williams, Jr. and Kevin (Angel) Williams both of Springfield, MA; three aunts, Ann Macon of Hartford, CT, Geraldine Lewaylen and Gaynell Williams both of Anniston, AL; three uncles, Bobby (Janice) Williams of Anniston, AL, Alvin (Janice) Williams and Grant Williams both of Hartford, CT; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy (David) Banks of Columbus, GA and Loretta (Patrick) Pickard of Phenix City, AL; one brother-in-law, David (Lydia) Moore of Phenix City, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
