Obituary For Jesse Taylor, Jr.

Funeral service for Jesse Taylor, Jr., 65, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2259 County Road 290, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Thomas Calloway, Officiating and Reverend Rodney Jones, Eulogist.

Mr. Taylor, who passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born April 25, 1959, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, November 1, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two children, Debreda “DeeDee” Taylor and Jessica Taylor (Brandon) Moore both of West Point, GA; one grandchild, Royalty (Lola) Johnson of West Point, GA; three sisters, Sally Chambers, Christina Chambers and Alfreida Dawson; four brothers, Johnny (Maria) Taylor, Charlie (Annette) Taylor, Lester (Tracie) Dawson and Christopher (Kim) Dawson; one aunt, Mary B Taylor; a host of other relatives and friends.
