Funeral service for Jessie Myers, 64, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830, with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL, 36830, Reverend V. Dion Gilbert, Pastor, Reverend Kortavious Key, Eulogist.
Mr. Myers, who passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his home in Auburn, Alabama, was born February 23, 1961, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, October 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. β 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Myers will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: six children, Teresa Dubose, Deonne Key, Theodis Dubose, Martavis Key, Markecha Key, JaQuice Myers all of Auburn, AL; twelve grandchildren, Caniasia Dubose, Khamani Key, Brianna Key, Treniya Key, Essence Key, Caitlyn Key, DaKarey Dubose, Zinnia Butler, Ziaire Butler all of Auburn, AL, Tocorra Dubose, Ethaan Key and Niana Key all of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Carrie (Roosevelt) Anderson of Alma, GA, Mary Edna Myers of Opelika, AL and Virginia Martin of Tuskegee, AL; six brothers, David (Joann) Morgan of Notasulga, AL, Robert Miles of Atlanta, GA, Walter B. (Evelyn) Myers of Opelika, AL, Frank Thomas (Josephine) Myers of Columbus, GA, Lonnie Myers of Phenix City, AL and Walter L. (Crystal) Myers of Auburn, AL; three sisters-in-law, Lizzie Dubose, Bobbie Simpson both of Midway, AL and Gurtrude Daniels of Haines City, FL; three brothers-in-law, Larry (Christine) Dubose of Haines City, FL, Bobby Lee (Gwendolyn) Dubose of Birmingham, AL and Lee Dubose of Midway, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
