Obituary For Jessie James Webb, Sr.
Funeral service for Jessie Webb, 69, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church, 377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL, 36850 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Otis Tyner, Jr. will officiate.
Mr. Webb, who passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his home in Camp Hill, Alabama, was born May 29, 1956, in Macon County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. β 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Webb will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: five children, Jessie James Webb, Jr. of Waverly, AL, Christian (Lisa) Dowdell of Opelika, AL, Randy Webb of Waverly, AL, LaJarvis (Jada) Gunn of Opelika, AL and Jessica Gunn of Camp Hill, AL; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mattie (Willie) Newsome of Auburn, AL, Juanita Robinson and Annie Webb Dumas both of Waverly, AL; four brothers, Jacob Webb of Auburn, AL, Nathaniel (Linda) Webb of Detroit, MI, Joeronnie (Fannie) Webb and Tommy Webb both of Waverly, AL; three aunts, Mozell Warren of Orlando, FL, Lillian Crabb of Auburn, AL and Josphine Stinson of Albany, GA; one uncle, James B. Echols of Champaign, IL; one sister-in-law, Stacy Webb of Auburn, AL; devoted friend, Willie βCheeseβ Wright of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
