Funeral service for Johnny Bryant, 64, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon (CST), Saturday, July 6, 2024, at St. Luke C.M.E. Church, 3400 County Road 94, Lafayette, AL 36832 with interment in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery, 402 B Street, Lafayette, AL, 36862, Reverend Winfred McCoy will officiate.
Mr. Bryant, who passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama was born December 10, 1959, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, July 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Bryant will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Annette T. Bryant of Auburn, AL; five children, Torry Bryant of Smith Station, AL, Jacinta Bryant of Beulah, AL, LaToya Todd of Smith Station, AL, AnJelica Dankins of Auburn, AL and Twanda Todd of Opelika, AL; mother, Jessie Mae Carlisle of Cape Coral, FL; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice (George) Beatty and Mary Lois Bryant both of Seattle, WA; one brother, Travis Ligon of Ohio; one uncle, Roy Christopher Bryant of Beulah, AL; seven aunts, Annie Bell Williams, Bertha Wallace, Ester (Billy Wayne) Kirk, Rosa Lee Bryant all of Opelika, AL, Ethel Jean (Clifford) Todd of Valley, AL, Priscilla Miller of West Point. GA and Cynthia Bryant of Lafayette. AL; one uncle, Roy Christphor Bryant of Beluah, AL; devoted friend, Canton Holloway of Lafayette, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
