Funeral service for Joseph Kindred, 80, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m. (CST)/12:00 noon (EST) Friday, January 13, 2023, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, Reverend Clifford E. Jones, Pastor and Reverend Arthur Thomas, Eulogist.
Mr. Kindred, who passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born August 14, 1942, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
Mr. Kindred will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
