Obituary For Julia Nell “Judy” Burden Kellum

Funeral service for Julia Kellum, 69, of Opelika, AL will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at The City Church, 2900 Waverly Parkway, Opelika, AL 36801, Bishop A.L. Dowdell, Officiating and Reverend Roger Jones, Eulogist.

Ms. Kellum, who passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL, was born October 18, 1953 in Randolph County, Alabama.

There will be no public viewing.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: three children, Eric (Tammy) Kellum, Roderick Kellum both of Opelika, AL and Stephanie Kellum of Phenix City, AL; her siblings, Verna Carr of Atlanta, GA, Gene Dowell, Johnny Burden, Michael Peterson all of Detroit, MI, Dorothy Rutledge of Columbus, GA, Evelyn Burden of Philadelphia, PA, Lenvor (Elaine) Childs of LaGrange, GA, Sylvia Ringer of McDonough, GA and Joe H. Woods of Knoxville, TN; a devoted grandson, QuenDesmond Kellum; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, James Kellum of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
