Obituary For Kathlean Dowdell “Kat” Delaney
Funeral service for Kathlean Delaney, 69, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 pm., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Anthony Pogue will officiate.
Ms. Delaney, who passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama was born March 23, 1956, in Macon County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Joshua Delaney of Opelika, AL and Ilaya (Efosa) Idahosa of Duluth, GA; one granddaughter, Phebe Brown of Duluth, GA; two sisters, Teresa Brown of Pensacola, FL and Tangee Floyd of Auburn, AL; two brothers, Manatha (Dorothy) Allen and Lindsey (Dorothy) Allen both of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church Family, other relatives and friends.
