Funeral service for Kimberly Harris, 44, of Phenix City, AL, formerly of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Pastor J.C. Winters will officiate.
Mrs. Harris, who passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 in Opelika, AL, was born November 5, 1979, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, September 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Arthur Harris of Phenix City, AL; a daughter, Amiya Brown of Auburn, AL; mother, Lillie Pearl (Cary) Dowdell of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Monica (Micheal) Russell of Montgomery, AL, Jennifer Askew of Salem, AL and Denise (LaDectric) Walker of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, ArKeith (Brittany) Dowdell and Demetrius Dowdell both of Opelika, AL; eight uncles, Royzell (Lynett) Ligon of Dalton, GA, David (Diane) Johnson of Houston, TX, Carl Ligon, James Johnson, Charles (Patricia) Johnson, James A. Johnson all of Opelika, AL, Jack (Jacqueline) Bandy of Camp Hill, AL and Garland (Denise) Johnson of Port St. Lucie, FL; five aunts, Mary Jo Bandy, Diane Holloway, Barbara Bandy all of Opelika, AL, Denise Freeman of Bessemer, AL and Phyllis Thomas of Alexander City, AL; mother-in-law, Elaine Lynch of Phenix City, AL; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
