Funeral service for Kyrie Jefferson, 5, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801, Pastor Cherith Beth Winters will officiate.
Master Kyrie Jefferson, who passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born May 28, 2019, in Columbus, GA.
Public viewing will be Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Melik Jefferson of Columbus, GA and Keiasha Bulger of Opelika, AL; maternal grandparents, Lashawn Bulger and Tamesha Chatmon both of Opelika, AL; paternal grandmother, Anquinette (Bernard) Fleno of Columbus, GA; great-grandfather, William Gunn, Sr. of Opelika, AL; great-grandmothers, Mary Bulger of Opelika, AL and Linda McFauson of Columbus, GA; six aunts, Madison Morgan, McKenzie Morgan, Daejaeh Maddox, Zion Bulger all of Opelika, AL, Zyona Fleno and Gabriele Fleno both of Columbus, GA; ten uncles, Anthony Delee, Rico Maddox, Zyrion Maddox, Kayden Simmions, Keyshawn Bulger, Contwez Bulger, Martavius Morgan all of Opelika, AL, Darrien Fleno, Danny McFauson and Johnnie Gateo all of Columbus, GA; six great-aunts, Tracie Chatmon, Sabrina Chatmon, Barbara Chatmon Melissa (Ronnie) Christian, Carla Gunn and Brentley Ingram all of Opelika, AL; two great-uncles, Ladarius Chatmon and Kelvin Bulger both of Opelika, AL; a host of special cousins and friends of the family.
