Funeral service for Larry Williams, 71, of Salem, AL, will be at 12:00 noon (CST), Monday, September 8, 2025, at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, 11620 Lee Road 179, Salem, AL, 36874 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Prevo Williams, Pastor, Presiding Elder James Q. Smith, Eulogist.
Mr. Williams, who passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born September 22, 1953, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (CST)
Mr. Williams will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Lorene Williams of Salem, AL; six children, Juan (Lakeydra) Williams of Columbus, GA, Sadé (Carlton) Jackson of Smith Station, AL, Marlon Vaughn of Crawford, AL, Sivi (Vincent) Robinson of Atlanta, GA, LaTasha Lamb of Albany, GA and LaShonn Lamb of Warner Robins, GA; mother, Alberta Williams of Crawford, AL; fourteen grandchildren, Tyus Vaughn, Alexis “Aliyyah Ross, Janiyah Boone, Sanaa Boone, Brandon Lamb, Deandre Rogers, Ari Brinson, Jakevia Williams, Ayani Williams, Jordan Jackson, Austin Jackson, Dillon Jackson and Paris Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Cai Ross and Codan Ross; two brothers, Walter Williams and Harry Williams both of Crawford, AL; two aunts, Sarah Nell Wright and Dorothy (Melvin) Hodge both of Crawford, AL; three uncles, as a brother, J.D. Wilson of Crawford, AL, Thomas (Gladys) Wilson of Phenix City, AL and Tom Williams of Smith Station, AL; two sisters-in-law, Rose Miles and Linda Welch (Darrell) both of Salem, AL; three brothers-in-law, James Lewis Allen of Crawford, AL, Johnny (Lovella) Giles of Atlanta, GA and Arnell (Rhonda) Allen of Opelika, AL; cousin as a brother, Homer (Barbara) Hodge of Salem, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
