Funeral service for Lee Robinson, 88, of Cusseta, AL, will be at 12:00 noon (CST), Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 5058 US Hwy 29 North, Opelika, AL, 36801, with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Jesse Grooms, Pastor, Elder James Q. Smith, Officiating, Reverend Michael Perry, Eulogist.
Mr. Robinson, who passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born July 23, 1937, in Chambers County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (CST)
Mr. Robinson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: four daughters, Diana (Bruce) Carter of Gainesville, FL, Debra (William) Gunn, Brenda (Anthony) Threat and Tonie Moore all of Opelika, AL; special grandson who he raised as a son, Christopher Lee (Alicia) Brown; four grandchildren, Bruce T. Carter, Margaret G. (Samuel) Bunton, Michael A. Threat and William E. (Sidne) Gunn; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Enthy Mae Jackson of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sometimes words just aren't enough. Cousin Lee J. Will be forever missed and loved. A special hug goes to his 4 special faithful daughters.
