Funeral service for Leonora Coles, 88, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Clifford E. Jones, Pastor and Officiating, Reverend Eric Dowdell, Eulogist.
Mrs. Coles, who passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born April 20, 1936, in Muscogee County, Georgia.
Public viewing will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Coles will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

I will truly miss u Ms.Leonora, when I would come to Opelika would try to stop bye to say hello. You always said something funny make me laugh. Me and Nedra and Angela spent many days coming in out your house. Memories I reflect on, I know my sister Nedra was there, Ronnie James to welcome u home. Sleep well sweet lady.
